THE Joint Task Force, Operation Pulo Shield, including policemen in Sapele, Delta State, on Saturday, arrested one Pastor Godspower Imido of Dominion City Assembly, along Ogorode Road, for lying that his father-in-law, Mr Samson Kekapkor, is a kidnapper.

He was arrested for misrepresentation and giving false information to the security agents that his father-in-law, Mr Kekapkor, who owns popular Hotel De Mama, situated on No.3 Macpherson Road, Sapele, and who also is the Chairman of Ajekimony Community in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, had been engaged in the illicit business of kidnapping.

Pastor Imido was said to have devised the ignoble means to extort money from his father-in-law by lying to the security agents that the hotelier had colluded with other kidnappers to abduct him (Pastor Imido) along Atufe Road, Sapele, where he was holding a prayer session for a church member.

Following the false information, a combined team of the police and army officers stormed the hotel premises at 7.00a.m to apprehend the suspects only to meet some customers who were having their breakfast in preparation to check out to work, and a male lodger who was sleeping in one of the rooms with his wife and two female daughters of about the ages of three and five.
