ARKANSAS: Bentonville Pastor Arrested During Prostitution Sting Resigns

Pastor Robert Burnham resigns from Faith Lutheran Church after arrest during prostitution stingA Bentonville pastor has resigned after he was arrested during an undercover prostitution sting. Robert Burnham was the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church.

The church released the following statement Friday: “We are saddened to hear of the charges brought against Robert Burnham. Clearly, we do not condone this type of action.  He has offered his resignation, and it has been accepted.  We will be praying for all parties affected.”

Burnham, 36, was arrested for Solicitation and Loitering. Six other people were arrested during the Bentonville Police Department’s undercover operation. The arrests took place Wednesday, Dec. 8, and Thursday, Dec. 9, at an area hotel.

Police arrested Adam Worthen, 34-year-old of Rogers, 46-year-old Steven Evans of Rogers, 34-year-old Joseph Bonds of Edgewater, NJ, for Solicitation and Loitering.
