Pastor Robert Oliver was arrested after undercover police caught a prostitute entering the his carA Christian pastor in New Hampshire has been arrested after being caught with a prostitute.

Robert Oliver, a pastor who opened a new Christian church, the Plymouth Brethren Assembly, in New Hampshire just two weeks ago, was arrested after undercover police caught a prostitute entering the his car. According to the Union Leader, the police report states that the officers followed the car to a parking lot, where the prostitute entered in the back seat of the vehicle. The police then arrested Oliver who was caught by surprise.

The Union Leader also notes that the Plymouth Brethren Assembly of Manchester was the 34th church of the denomination and Oliver was hoping to bring people in who don't normally attend service. Oliver had been a pastor for the church in Canada, but recently moved to the states with his wife. While Oliver wasn't available for comment, he previously noted the reason he came to New Hampshire and opened the new church.

“My wife and I prayed and we just kept hearing 'Manchester, N.H.' We took a trip down here and the Lord provided a building for the church and an apartment, and we believe it's his will for us to be here in Manchester.”

Sexual acts among Christian pastors have become commonplace over the years. Earlier this summer, the anti-gay Christian pastor, Rev. Grant Storms, was convicted after masturbating near a public park in Louisiana.
