Reverend Gerry James arrested again, sentenced to two days in jailHATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Hattiesburg pastor was arrested Tuesday morning in Gulfport, and it isn't the first time.

Reverend Gerry James appeared before a municipal judge to face 10 different charges including, multiple traffic violations, DUI, threatening a police officer and possession of marijuana.

A judge not only fined James, but sentenced him to two days in jail and was immediately taken into custody.

James is the pastor at Hattiesburg's Friendship Baptist Church where some church members voted him out of the position because of his arrest back in July and accusations he mishandled church finances to build a new church after the old one burned down.
